I can’t even believe another week has gone by!! Last week was so much fun for me! It was filled with my first trip to Austin! I have wanted to go since before I moved to Texas and I finally made it!
Leaving Behind I didn’t cross as many things off my to-do list as I would have hoped. It is hard to not get as much accomplished as you think you should have, but I am trying not to let that bother me and I’m doing my best to only let that motivate me to get more done this week!
Taking With Me
This past week I took my very first trip to Austin, TX! I work at Vintage Home in Downtown Rockwall, taking photos and doing social media. Since Vintage Home is launching a new website with a new online shop, we had a fun photo shoot in Austin (where the online shop is being run). It was such a treat to see the new clothes!! Mackenzie and Britt of Beelanestyle.com were our fabulous models! It was perfect!
While I was in Austin, I would have been crazy not to enjoy a tasty brunch at Magnolia Cafe and a little sweet treat from Tiny Pies. I can’t turn down a pie… especially if it’s Coconut Cream! Delicious!
The weather this past week was phenomenal which meant we were outside as much as possible. I didn’t realize how sunny Arizona was until I got to Texas! So, when the weather is good, I have learned to bolt outside which meant that Friday, Aaron and I met up with some friends for food and drinks on an outdoor patio! So great!
Tulips are my favorite flower. I know I’ve probably said this way too many times, but it is true. And, do you know where there were 500,000 tulips? The Dallas Arboretum… and so that’s exactly where I was found this weekend. Lucky me go to photograph a beautiful engagement session in the midst of God’s beautiful Spring creation, and my personal favorite flower!
This week has a lot on the agenda, as I’m sure yours does too! I hope that you find time to get everything you need to done, as well as spend time with those that you love. We have thunder storms coming in, so I’m hoping that will keep me motivated to get as much done while I can’t go outside. Stay dry!
